Here’s 5 Questions with Jake Revers, Director of Business Development here at STEADfast.

#1: What’s your name and title? 

My name is Jake Revers and I’m the Director of Business Development at STEADfast IT.  

#2: How long have you been working at STEADfast and what are your primary responsibilities?

I’ve been at STEADfast for a little more than a year now. My role with the company is focused on new business development and customer engagement to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

​#3: What do you enjoy about the work you do at STEADfast?

The people. I enjoy the people that I work with and get to have conversations with daily. To sit down and understand the challenges business and individuals are faced with daily and to be able to come up with a solution or direct them to a partner to help solve those challenges is very fulfilling. My goal for every conversation that I have is to walk away knowing that I helped that individual in some way, shape or form. If I don’t have the solution – I know someone who does!

#4: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of being a father to three amazing kids, I’m an avid outdoorsman. There is something about being connected with mother nature that I can’t explain. I love to hunt and fish but more so to immerse myself in my surroundings and use my senses to really become a part of nature. It’s amazing how many things are actually going on around you once you become aware.

#5: What’s your favorite book, movie or podcast? 

With all the time I spend on the road, I take advantage of that time to reflect on myself and listen to podcasts. My favorite is the Ed Mylett Show. His podcast inspires you to be a better person in so many ways. He extracts information from his interviews and relates it not only our everyday lives, but to his own as well is a talent second to none. His tactics and strategies are tools to help you transform your body, mind business and/or family.

Here’s 5 Questions with Adrian Lovelace,  Support Engineer at STEADfast.

#1: What’s your name and title? 

My name is Adrian Lovelace and I am a Support Engineer here at STEADfast IT.

​#2: What do you enjoy about the work you do at STEADfast?

I enjoy working with the team here at STEADfast and I particularly like working in an ever-changing environment.

​​#3: What is one piece of tech advice you would give a customer or friend?

Try turning it off and on again! Sometimes that type of reset is enough to fix the problem.

#4: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I collect and play board games and musical instruments. I also enjoy creating with a laser cutter and a 3D printer.

My name is Duane Crosbie and I am a Support Engineer here at STEADfast IT.

​#2: What do you enjoy about the work you do at STEADfast?

I truly enjoy helping people. It makes me feel good to hear the sound of relief in a customers’ voice when I solve an issue that has been ruining their day.

​​#3: What is one piece of tech advice you would give a customer or friend?

Don’t use the same password for multiple websites and applications. If you were to ever get hacked, that person could have access to everything. 

#4: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy going to the gym, board gaming and live music.

#5: What’s your favorite book or movie? 

My favorite book is the Lord of the Rings series and my favorite movie is Star Wars.

Here’s 5 Questions with Zach Reiff, STEADfast’s Systems Engineer. 

#1: What’s your name and title? 

My name is Zach Reiff and I am a Systems Engineer here at STEADfast IT. I’ve been with STEADfast for almost 4 years now.

​#2: What do you enjoy about the work you do at STEADfast?

I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my job. I like being able to take a difficult technical challenge or customer request and solving it. It’s satisfying to our customers relieved when their technical problems are solved.

​

​​#3: What is one piece of tech advice you would give a customer or friend? 

Don’t click on an attachment in an email from someone you don’t know, or weren’t expecting. I have seen that lead to various security threats and crypto locker viruses. If you didn’t expect it, reject it! Even emails that look legitimate can be phishy.  

​

#4: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy playing tennis, basketball and hiking. I’m also the proud father to five animals; 3 dogs and 2 cats!  

#5: What’s your favorite book or movie? 

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
